FoundationMatch is a referral service. We publish information, run free tools and, when you ask, send your request to one independent foundation, waterproofing or crawl space company. We are not a contractor, an engineer, an architect, an inspector or an insurer, and we do none of the work.
The pages and tools describe what a crack pattern, a wet wall or a crawl space can mean and when to call a professional engineer. They do not diagnose your house, and no tool replaces an engineer's inspection. Do not rely on this site to decide whether a structure is safe. If you think it is not, leave it and call 911.
We do not endorse, rate or recommend any company, and we do not promise that a company serves your address, will call, will quote or will do the work well. The company, not FoundationMatch, sets its price, signs your contract, holds any license and carries any warranty. Ask for its license number and check it with your state licensing agency yourself.
Cost figures on the site are estimates for planning, not quotes. Rules, fees and codes change, and we may be out of date or wrong; each page shows when it was last reviewed. Check anything that matters with your city building office and the licensing agency before you rely on it.
You promise that what you send is true and that you may give us the phone number you entered. You allow us to pass your request to the company described on the form and to keep a record of your consent.
Once a company has your request, your dealings with it are between you and the company. Read any contract before you sign it, and keep any right to cancel that the law gives you.
We link to statutes, agency pages and standards so you can read them. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they say or for how long a link works.
The text, tools and design of the site belong to FoundationMatch. You may link to a page and quote a short passage with credit. You may not copy the site, or scrape it to build a competing service.
The site and its information are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, FoundationMatch is not liable for damage to your home, for a company's work or conduct, or for losses that follow from relying on an estimate. Nothing in these terms limits a right the law gives you that cannot be limited.

We may change these terms. The effective date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
